CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – Police seized more than $20,000 in drugs and guns at a Steele Creek home on April 5.
Police responded to the 4100 block of Coopersdale Road at 7:47 p.m., according to the report from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
David Leeper III, 25, is charged with three counts of firearm by felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking marijuana and maintaining a dwelling to sell a controlled substance, according to police.
Around thirty items were seized including various guns, ammunition cases, drug paraphernalia and electronics, according to the report.
Police seized more than $22,000 worth of marijuana from the home.
Along with the marijuana, police found a marijuana grinder, water bong, two scales and shrink wrap. Two cell phones, a bulletproof vest and several cases of ammunition were also taken.
